Meet Heather

Hi, I’m Heather—and this corner of the internet is for us 30-year-old corporate burnt-out girlies who are healing with books, yarn, and a little bit of spite.

I’m a former exec who hit the burnout wall at full speed. After years of hustle culture, I’m now building a slower, softer life—one built on books, creativity, and cozy routines that remind me I’m a human being, not a productivity machine.

Around here, you’ll find:

• Honest, spoiler-free book reviews (long captions always, sorry not sorry)
• Crafting chaos: yarn, stitches, and half-finished projects
• Non-toxic TBRs and anti-hustle hobbies
• Big emotions, soft blankets, and the occasional swear word
• A safe, cozy space for readers, makers, and fellow recovering overachievers

When I’m not lost in a good book or tangled up in yarn, you’ll usually find me rock climbing, camping, or spending time with my two pups Remus and Ellie . While this site is brand-new (2025), I’m no stranger to blogging—I started my first blog in 2011 and shifted toward bookish content in 2015, taking a few breaks along the way as life happened.

This space is for anyone rediscovering joy on their own terms. Whether you’re here for fantasy epics, spicy romance, weird horror, quiet moments with yarn in your lap, or adventures outdoors—you are so welcome here.
